Position description:
Our Translation service providing department is looking for Chinese and Vietnamese Translators to work in our translation centers in Vietnam. You will be final responsibility for the quality of translations of Legal, Medical, Finance, Game, Marketing, Engineering, Technical and Infrastructure, Automotive Manufacturer, etc. contents from Chinese into Vietnamese and vice versa. We are looking for talented individuals to fill a variety of roles within our language service team to support our global Clients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform translation for documentations, digital contents from Chinese language to Vietnamese and vice versa.
- Work in liaison with another translation teams in managing translation tasks assigned and ensure the quality of output meet the customer requirement.
- Be independent and well collaborate with the team, review and mentor for the Junior member, and have good co-ordination skills with vendors.
- Playing key role in Translation activities to work directly with the Clients for request receipt, clarification and manage the tasks with close collaboration among the team members.
- Train, and manage a team of qualified freelance translators that can be engaged translation production process
- Build and manage terminology resources such as glossaries, style guides, and translation memory files
- Experience with CAT tools, Memsource knowledge is a plus.
Must-have experience:
- Native Chinese or Vietnamese speakers
- At least 5 years of translation experiences from Chinese Vietnamese and vice versa.
- Proficient in Chinese and Vietnamese in both reading and writing skills.
- For Vietnamese native: Chinese HSK5 or above.
- For Chinese native: Vietnamese C1 or above.
Good-to-have experience:
- Well versed in using office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF).
- Professional skill in CAT Tools.
- High team work spirit & In-deep team work skill.
- A massive passion for translation work!
