Position description:
Our Translation Service Department is looking for fulltime and partime translators to cover the language pair of English – Vietnamese. You may choose from the following areas of expertise: Legal, Medical, Finance, Corporate, Game, Marketing, Engineering, Technical and Infrastructure, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Translate documents from English to Vietnamese and vice versa.
- Work with Production Lead or Project Manager to respond to Clients’ queries and feedback.
- Support with certain administrative work like receiving phone calls and clients coming to our office and other translation-related task such as formatting (for fulltime onsite position).
Must-have criteria:
- Native Vietnamese or English speaker.
- Bachelor degree with English or Vietnamese language as the major of study.
- For native Vietnamese speaker: CEFR Level C1 qualification or above or equivalent.
- For native English speaker: Vietnamese Proficiency Certificate level 5 or above or equivalent.
Good-to-have criteria:
- Translation experience.
- Profiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, word, PowerPoint).
- Profiency in CAT Tools (Trados, Memsource, etc.).
Personal qualities:
- Have a high sense of responsibility and commitment.
